1. General Terms
Golden Wheel Driving School (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides professional driving instruction services in Bergen and Passaic Counties, NJ. By booking lessons, packages, or services through our website(s), booking funnels, or directly with our staff, you (“student,” “customer,” or “you”) agree to the terms outlined below. These terms apply to all of our online platforms, websites, and booking funnels.
2. Eligibility
Students must hold a valid NJ permit or driver’s license appropriate for the type of lesson scheduled.
Students under 18 must provide parental or guardian consent.
3. Scheduling & Appointments
Lessons are scheduled in advance based on instructor and vehicle availability.
All appointments are confirmed via phone, email, or SMS.
It is the student’s responsibility to be on time and prepared with the required documents.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any lesson, package session, or road test service.
Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 24 hours in advance will result in the full loss of the appointment and no refund or credit will be issued.
“No-shows” (failure to attend without notice) are treated as late cancellations.
5. Refund Policy
Payments for single lessons, packages, or services are non-refundable once the first lesson has been taken.
Package payments are non-transferable and expire within 12 months of purchase unless otherwise stated in writing.
Refund requests before services begin will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to administrative fees.
Refunds (if approved) will only be processed to the original payment method used at booking.
6. Road Test Services
Road test scheduling with the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) is subject to state availability.
Golden Wheel Driving School is not responsible for MVC cancellations, rescheduling, or weather-related delays.
The 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all road test services booked through us.
7. Student Responsibilities
Students must comply with all NJ driving laws during instruction.
Instructors reserve the right to terminate a lesson if a student engages in unsafe, reckless, or impaired behavior (including under the influence of drugs/alcohol). No refunds will be provided in such cases.
8. Limitation of Liability
Golden Wheel Driving School is not responsible for indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of time, missed work, or additional expenses due to rescheduling or cancellation.
Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the service purchased.
9. Changes to Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be posted on our website(s).
